Tonight we had a record turn-out to the Dads and Books program . . . 37 parents and kids. Special thanks to Mike Williams (Burlington Police Chief), Monte Holland (with the Alamance County Sheriff's Department), Jay Smith (Burlington Fire Chief), and Dan Ingle (NC House of Representatives) for coming out to support A.O. and promote literacy. Each Dad did a great job engaging the kids. Definitely a special night and quite possibly an annual event.
